Russia’s Raspadskaya launches new coal face with 2.8 mln tn reserves
MOSCOW, Jun 1 (PRIME) -- Russian coal producer Raspadskaya has launched a coal face at its Raspadskaya 5a-7-30 mine, with reserves estimated at more than 2.8 million tonnes of gas-fat coal, the company said in a statement on Wednesday.
The production plan stands at 250,000 tonnes monthly.
Raspadskaya is developing three mines at the deposit with a planned load standing at 29,800 tonnes of coal daily. The gas-fat coal produced at the Raspadskaya deposit is enriched to a concentrate and sold to metals and coke-chemical producing companies of Russia, Ukraine and Southeast Asia.
